Vaq61
Need advice for starting QB this weekend Palmer against Car Kitna against NYJ Leinart against OAK Normally I would start Palmer. I know the rule is always start your stud but Palmer hasn't really been a stud this year. Given the matchup and the offensive line issues they are having I'm tempted to bench Palmer and start Leinart. Kitna also has a decent matchup. Orange & Blue
I'm making the decision on Leinart and Kitna. In my league Kitna is putting up solid numbers. Leinart is still a relatively unknown commodity. Huge upside with Leinart....not much with Kitna. On the flip side there's downside with Leinart, but not much with Kitna. OAK actually has allowed the fewest points to receivers in my league and has allowed the 6th fewest to QB's. Problem is no one has had to pass against OAK. At least NYJ are giving up pretty decent points to QB/WR positions. As of today I'm leaning toward Kitna but am combing this and other boards for "expert's" take on the Leinart situation this week. As to your situation I'd lean toward starting Palmer.
