Vandamanater
My league's playoffs are the total points over the final three weeks of the season. It is down to me and one other team. I have him by ten points (it's really nine because he is crushing me on the tie breaker nonstarting points. He just called and offered to split the prize money. I have until midnight to decide. His only loss was week one (against me) and he has been the consistant powerhouse throughout the season. It is a considerable drop in funds from first to second place. What do you think? My team is: Bulger Gore S. Jackson D.Driver A.Boldin M.Harrison H. Miller J. Elam Oakland D. Tampa Special Teams His team is: Jeff Garcia QB LaDainian Tomlinson RB DeShaun Foster RB * Laveranues Coles Torry Holt WR Marques Colston Antonio Gates TE Robbie Gould K Pittsburg Packers Def Seattle Seahawks ST *He might start one of the following instead of Foster DeAngelo Williams RB Mike Bell RB Michael Turner RB Brandon Jacobs RB Sammy Morris RB

Bonedaddies
Split the funds? Dude, if you are out to make half the pot, take out a couple of hundies, go hit the casino and play some Blackjack for a few hours. IMO, It's NOT about taking half the pot, it's about hoisting the trophy and talking Smack! to all of the losers that couldn't hang around in crunch time. It sounds like you have him/her scared to death if they are ready to throw in the towel that easy and just half it!! Am I crazy here....or don't we play this game to be the best, no matter what the odds!! Edited December 21, 2006 by Bonedaddies
Boilerduff
First of all, are we talking about 200 or 20,000. Makes a difference. If the money difference is big enough, then do a chop. Do 40% and 40%, and then 20% to the winner. It gives you he best of both worlds. JMO!
