The firing of Beightol will come as a shock to many players because he was clearly respected by the linemen. Considering what Beightol had to work with, he did an amazing job. It's believed that Beightol, who can be abrasive and stubborn, had too many clashes with OC Mike Martz, who can be equally as abrasive and stubborn.
