The Wench and I have been playing on and off. I think that we're nearing the end. We went around and power leveled until we were like 40th level and have been flying through things ever since.

Its good, but I wish the dialog engine wasn't so danged time consuming. I hear that Obivion is the Bomb

I made a battle mage briton. Am I going to regret a spell caster?

I actually hadn't read the rules when I made a character. I wish had as the most important thing is making sure the abilities you pick for your primary abilities are things you will use often. For example - even if you see your character as a theif, I wouldn't exactly chose security as a primary ability because there are simply not enough locks or traps in the game to make it worth while. Longsword on the otherhand or silly things like armor or even acrobatics are cake to raise.

On the spell end, I have bought just about every spell in the game and found that I use waterwalking, levetate and chameleon the most. There does not really seem to be much a difference between one offensive spell and another.

Also - always use your soul gems. Once you enchant a few weapons, you'll be unstoppable. It almost gets unfair how sweet a character you can make.

And... the creeper in caladria is the best person to sell items to... beyond the dialog engine - the selling of items is the thing that has pissed me off most in the game. Folk just don't have money to buy things.
