BeeR
Good move, I think. Should be a good one for years to come (if he can stay healthy).
Chavez
At worst, he should be as productive as Vonnie Holliday was.
piratesownninjas
Im really glad to see this... Now if we could just extend Barnetts contract. And somehow manage to cut ties with KGB...
Chavez
And somehow manage to cut ties with KGB... KGB is overpaid, no doubt, but as long as he hasn't hamstringing FA acquisitions or eating up needed cap space, he remains a reasonably effective pass-rush specialist/spot starter at DE. He'll be gone soon enough, I wouldn't worry. At least he semi-justified the big contract Sherman gave him, unlike most of Sherm's other mistakes. It drives me crazy when I see his contract for what he does. If you're paid that kind of money, you need to be effective and on the field on all downs, not just the third. Gbaja-Biamila is scheduled to make $5 million next season and there has been speculation he would be cut or have to take a pay cut, but the Packers intend on keeping him around next season. Fatman
With the cap as it is, I'm fine keeping KGB for the next year or two. He was more effective coming in on passing downs and staying fresh. This gives us a nice rotation at end.
