Randall
I agree. He was a rock-solid and very underrated QB in his prime, but he's a shell of his former self at this point. Is he? Was that because of the injury? He looked pretty good in 2005 but I didn't see a lot of him.
Bill Swerski
Is he? Was that because of the injury? He looked pretty good in 2005 but I didn't see a lot of him. Good point. Then again, his numbers regressed from '04 to '05. Given how bad he was in the playoffs (months after the concussion) and the fact that he turns 37 in July, I'd be shocked if he's still on the Chiefs roster this summer. I think that he could be decent one-year stop-gap for a legitimate contender in need of a QB (like Miami) but I think that Father Time is quickly catching up with him. I didn't see him play much but every year he seemed to put up 4000 yards with mediocre receivers and a great TE. Even in 2005 he was second in yards passing. Only Brady had more. He had 4014 and Brady had 4110. In 04 he had 4591 so he did decline some.
muck
So, if Green goes to MIA and MIA cuts Culpepper ... does OAK sign Culpepper (and his huge arm) to reunite w/ Moss ... or does it sign Carr (who may be shell shocked, but at least has two healthy knees)?
