goose228
10 team keeper league. Keep 4 players. No more than 2 per position. Yardage and TD league with WR's and TE's getting 1pt per catch. 6pts for all TD's. my roster: QB Bulger, Rivers RB Addai, Alexander, R. Brown, J. Norwood, C. Taylor WR Colston, R. Moss, R. Williams, L. Evans TE Shockey I was leaning towards Alexander, Addai, Colston, and R. Williams. I was offered Chad Johnson or Larry Fitz for Alexander or Manning and my 1st pick (5th overall) for Alexander and his 6th round pick (61st overall) Would love to have Manning with 6pts per TD, but I dont like the fact of giving up my 1st round pick for his 6th round pick. Any thoughts?? Thanks.
Avernus
wow...you definately have alot of options here... since that 5th overall pick is in the 5th round technically...I'd consider that, but try to move a WR and a lower pick instead of your 1st... I'd hate to not utilize the fact that I would have 4 clear startable WR's and not be able to package one to better your team... the idea of having Manning and Addai may sound bad to some because of the whole "having too many eggs in one basket" thing....especially when they play the Jags.... but I'd have to try and get Manning with all your trading power...plus I think that trading Alexander right now is the best time....he's had too much wear on his wheels... keeping 4 of the 5 mentioned below would be ideal... Manning Addai Colston Moss/Williams after this, you can try to get Travis Henry if he is indeed available through the draft.... just try and unload a WR and offer your 3rd or 2nd pick if need be so you can get a decent stab at a RB with your 1st pick.... Crazysight
I agree with all except keeping Reggie Williams...would probably keep Evans instead. I wouldn't do the trade for Manning, though if you like him you might want to try counter-offering with a lower pick. Reggie Williams doesn't get to have his last name put down by itself ...the only WR that warrants this is Roy Williams...
Crazysight
Oh yeah...my bad. That's fine then.
goose228
Thanks for the input... By the way it is Roy Williams. Sorry, I should have specified.
rattsass
I wouldn't keep Alexander. It is all downhill from this point.

Moss 5th overall pick This is what my 4 keepers would be Manning Addai C.Johnson Colston opposed to Alexander, Addai, R. Moss, Colston Any thoughts? Not a lot of thought on it, but on the surface it looks like a deal I would make.

Men In Tights
I am assuming you made that trade and I am just a little curious why you aren't thinking about keeping Ronnie Brown over Colston? Right now I think Brown bounces back and Colston stumbles a little. This is just a gut feeling.
