detlef
That's a popular expression around the house for something particularly irritating. Often times it's an "insult to injury" sort of thing. Other times it is used to describe something so freaking lame that in and of itself is the equivalent to being kicked in the other nut right after a blow to the first. This morning's version. While hardly as traumatic as consecutive blows to the jewels... My wife and often take the dogs down to this trail by a nearby river early in the morning. Beautiful trail, great chance for the dogs to get a swim in, amazing bird-life. However, there's always spider webs hanging across the trail. Freaking annoying. Walking along and then you've got these sticky threads all over your head. On a bad morning, it will happen over and over again. The other nut part comes in to play because now you've got whatever stuff attracts flies to spider webs all over your head, so the rest of the freaking trip, you're a gawd darned fly magnet. They're just dive bombing you for the rest of the trip... In the big picture, hardly a heavy cross to bear, but it's just one of those little things that bugs the crap out me... untateve
sometimes when I walk in the morning grass, my shoes get wet. when I go barefoot to avoid this, I step on small rocks and pointy twigs. my wife hates this because I make her carry me now.
