jmkramer
We're talking of making our league a minimal keeper league (keep 0-3 players, keeping players from the first three rounds off limits as keepers and giving up a draft spot 2 above the position the keeper was in). The Question that has come up is, specifically, what do we do about a player like Maurice Jones-Drew? He was taken off the waiver wire. Does that mean the Manager only gives up his second to last pick? Do we make Waiver wire Pickups off limits? Also, what is the feeling on giving 1/4 point for QB Completions? It seems like it rewards crappy QB's for completing passes in junk 4th quarter time.
Big Country
Different leagues handle FA pickups differently. Most allow the player to be kept. Some would say yes, 2 rounds before the last round, others have a default rule in place such as FA pickups cost a 10th rounder the following year. THere is no "standard" for that situation other than that the player generally is allowed to be a keeper.
