truck50
I am in a FFL that has 12 teams. We start 1 QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 DEF/SPT, 1K. Points are 1 for 20 yds passing, 1 10 yds rush/recieving, 4 passing td, 6 rush/receive td. DEF is 1 pt fumble or int or sack, 6 pt td;s. I pick number 1 so LT is a no brainer. I am trying to decide what to do when I get pick 24 and 25 in our serpentine draft. I an thinking about going RB2 and Gates. I think this could work since I only need to start two WR's. I may also go WR, TE or WR,WR with pick 2 and 3. I get nervous with this because by pick 4 I'll be stuck with a pretty ricky guy at 2RB with pick 4. However, I would have the best RB and TE and a tier 1 WR with my first three picks. If I had to start three WR's or had flex position I would be thinking diferently. Your thoughts? Thanks
cdj7k
if it is me, i grab gates, but i would see how the draft has unfolded, and grab the best at rb or wr with the other pick. unless rb's have really been taken i would go gates and a rb. i think the wr pool is fairly large this year and i would rather have a real consistent number 2 back than a top tier receiver who, reality is, doesnt always show up every week with consistent points. but then i remember you have LT, so you have a little more flexibility, but i would still try and grab a real good #2 back........probably. how is that for help? homebrewer
i would try to go WR, TE and pick up jacobs-NYG or jackson-GB in the 4th round.
piratesownninjas
i would try to go WR, TE and pick up jacobs-NYG or jackson-GB in the 4th round. If you're taking Brandon Jackson in the fourth, you're not going to win many games.
