rajncajn
http://www.al.com/sports/mobileregister/in....xml&coll=3 Colston, Henderson back tonightSaints' starting receivers have missed the last two preseason games, so Payton plans to give them some work tonight against Miami in the Superdome "If they had been playing a lot in the last few weeks we would be resting them and playing more of (David) Patten and (Terrance) Copper," Payton said. "But with the reps that Patten has gotten and where he's at in his career, I want to back off on him some. "I think that it's important that Devery and Marques get some work." Patten, Copper and Lance Moore have taken the snaps at wide receiver in place of Colston and Henderson. Colston is expected to play at Indianapolis. Henderson's status is a bit more questionable. "They're coming around," Payton said. Edited August 30, 2007 by rajncajn
NavinRJohnson
So, Henderson is going to play tonight but his status for next week vs. the Colts is in question?
Avernus
So, Henderson is going to play tonight but his status for next week vs. the Colts is in question? I'm guessing they want to see how he feels after some action....and if they need to lay off him some..

myhousekey
Didn't see the game but from the recap/box score saw: Colston caught two passes for 17 yards. Henderson did not have a reception (from what i've heard Martin underthrew Henderson on the deep ball). 1st qtr1st and 10 at NO 7 (8:18) J.Martin pass short right to M.Colston to NO 11 for 4 yards (D.Pope). 2nd and 6 at NO 36 (4:58) J.Martin pass short left to M.Colston to NO 49 for 13 yards (T.Tillman, J.Allen). 2nd qtr 1st and 10 at NO 10 (12:43) J.Martin pass incomplete deep right to D.Henderson (D.Johnson) [A.Gbaja-Biamila].
