Is Jesse Chatman worth a roster spot until I know more just to play it safe??? I would drop someone like Joe Horn who is my 5th receiver.... Marshall, Cutler, Kitna, or D. Foster. I really don't want to let go of any of those guys. I would like some perspective on this as well, I really don't think that Chatman could take signifcant carries from Brown. I mean Chatman wasn't even in the picture until the Jacksonville preseason game. Also I think Cameron favors a one back system only because he implemented one in San Diego. lbloodojunkieg Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 In my league, I took Ronnie Brown in the second round, and then I picked up Chatman off waivers because hey, you never know. It never hurts to have someones backup, depending on what your team consists of. As for RylenolFlu, the only one I would consider dropping is Owen Daniels. Is he your number one tight end? Crazysight Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 (edited) Chatman has been in the picture for a while actually, and Cameron knew/liked him from when he was the offensive coordinator in San Diego. He is worth owning as a backup if you have Brown. I would drop horn in the first scenario and probably Marshall in the second. I am pretty high on Daniels and Marshall, this Chatman mess is really annoying. I was considering dropping Deshaun Foster, he is really the only one I want to let go for this since I have J. Norwood and L. Betts, both considered valuable backups in case something happens to the starters. Anyway, if anyone can lend anymore insight I would greatly appreciate it.
