kpholmes Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 (edited) Link They interviewed this guy on SportsTalk1140 here the other day, thought I'd share it with everyone since I haven't heard anything here about it yet. Basically the guy felt like he never got to finish the way he wanted to, so he feels like this is something he has to do. Kept in shape by lifting weights every day since college. He showed up and told to coach he wanted to play while the coach was working out freshman walk ons. The coach told him to get in there and play some 7-7 touch with the frosh and I guess he kept up just fine. Hasn't played yet because the recovery time for a 59-year old's injury is a little different from an 18 year olds... Think he has some fantasy potential? Regardless, what an amazing story.
