nhoops Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 Hey all, A frustrated 0-2 owner here. Standard scoring league, start (QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, D) QB: *Delhomme @ ATL, Romo @ Chic. I'm going with Delhomme here RB: *Parker v SF, MJD @ DEN, Lynch @ NE, C.Brown @ NO, Betts v. NYG Going with Parker for sure. Have been going with MJD , would start Lynch but faces a Pats D that shut down LT. So it's either hoping MJD turns it around against Den or that C.Brown gets his share against NO. Thoughts? 2 other quick pnts. 1. V.Davis has been killing me @ TE.....do I dare drop him or D.Carter and p/u (start) Franks (GB v.SD), Baker(NYJ v. MIa) or Jeff King (Car@ ATL)? I'm considering dropping Carter for Franks or King and giving them the start. 2. I'm also benching Lee Evans this week for Engram....just a statement. Thanks in Advance, will respond! I'd go MJD - they'll get it going at some point. The Lynch matchup is bad, Brown is inconsistent, and Betts isn't getting enough carries. I wouldn't drop Davis yet. myhousekey Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I'd ride MJD for another week. Even Oakland was able to run the ball on Denver last week. As far as the TE goes I think I'd also sit tight on V Davis. If he doesn't show any signs of production by week 4 I might look to make a change. watchurdaughters Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I'll agree w/ the above.... MJD (although I'm not really a fan) is your best play there. I'm sitting Lynch too. For CBrown, I'm actually looking at picking up LWhite (or Kevin Jones) this week...see new post shortly for that question. I'd also give VDavis a bit more time.
