theprofessor
I have a must win this weekend and need your advice on who I should start at RB. I am going to go with the "consensus pick". 1 PPR 1 point per 10 yards 6 pts per TD Bonus pts. for TD's of more than 20 yards, 30 yards and 40 yards START 2 Jamal Lewis at home against Houston Maurice Morris @ St. Louis Frank Gore @ Arizona Cedrick Benson at home against Denver I am leaning towards Morris. Lewis or Gore. I can only start 2. I know Gore has done very little but he has the capability of putting up a huge game. I like Morris because he won't be sharing carries and he can catch the ball. This game should be a shootout. Jamal has had a nice year and will see the end zone if they get inside the 5. Benson has been playing better, is at home and has good matchup, although Denver has been tightening up lately. What would you do and why? Thanks! Send me yours! bry2476
I would go with Morris for the reasons you stated. Lewis because he can have huge games and will get goal line carries, still risky but Gore has a bad team and done nothing this year, Bensons had one good game
tbimm
Man that is a tough one. I think I go with Lewis as I see the passing game starting to open things up for him. Morris for the receptions. What is amazing to me is how unlikely that choice would have been 11 weeks ago! ETA: I dont think Gore is healthy. I know the team sucks but he is a shell of himself this season. There is more wrong with him that a slight ankle sprain and I wouldnt be at all surprised to see him on the operating table maybe even before the season ends! Judge Smales
I think you already got your answer, but if you want one more opinion: Morris and Lewis
Cowboyz1
Morris all day long. He has 100 plus last two weeks and catches out of the back field. With SA down he will get all the touches. Lewis or Gore for the other. Edited November 22, 2007 by Cowboyz1
cubdaddy
Morris and Lewis...I like Benson's match up vs. DEN...but Benson is inconsistent and throw in the fact that Rex is back at the helm w/ his Good Rex / Bad Rex....I'd stay away until Benson becomes a little more consistent. Besides, I have Winslow on my team and he's good for a long catch and run going down on the 1 or 2 yrd line which will give JLew an easy TD. Good Luck!
