Just don't let the nerdiness corrupt you. Chicks still don't dig on pocket protectors. As an aside, I count a few JPL/CalTech geeks among my friends here in Pasadena, as our kids go to the same private school. (My kids are so getting stomped when they start to grade on a curve!) Unfortunately I am not as good as a lot of these guys. I just hang around and have a parasitic relationship to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
