Sounds like you have been very proactive in working out the best solution--I'm sure that your family is very grateful.This is the first I have ever heard of a "death tax", and I must say, it truly depresses me. LOL It is not necessarily a death tax....as it taxes a sizable estate upon transferrance to the next generation....kinda of a way to level the playing field in a free market system.
