Bier Meister
Thoughts- I like the 3-0 lead. Just barry doesn't do his post-season disappearing act.
Bier Meister
6-2 Bummer.... Bonds gets a hit and I think they pull Glavine. Would have been good for the remainder of the series. Get the relievers in early and often.
Bier Meister
Likely. But hey, as a Giants fan we have had our share of disappointment. Best record in 2000 and bumped by the Mets. Won over 100 and missed the division (and playoffs) by 1 game to atl.
Bier Meister
Bummer tonight. Trying to be objective here.... I saw SF getting squeezed on very similar pitches as Atl. A couple of good breaks, a couple of bad calls for Atl. Much closer than the score indicates. Glad we have Schmidt going in game 3. :long face:
Bier Meister
Maddax has had a sensational career, but is not nearly as "untouchable" as he once was. Been looking at Schmidt vs atl and Maddax vs sf. Very similar #'s. Maddax has a slightly lower era and went 1-1. Schmidt had a better so/bb ratio and went 0-1. The teams split the series 3-3. Back in SF I give my Homers the nod.

Bier Meister
tonight's game reminded me a little of game 2 for atl. got a cheap run early, livan was getting pitches that glavine wasn't. then Aurilia breaks it open (more like lockhart yesterday). very happy that no matter waht ...no yankees!
