jaxfactor
No doubt! I had a Chemistry professor at WVU who threw test tubes across the room todescribe a physical change. He also stated that sulfur in its purest state was really tasteless and odorless and he proceeded to eat some. But that's nothing compared to this guy. The Holy Roller
Good stuff. He definitely enjoys his job. There's the key! We've all had teachers who you just knew were there for the paycheck (dummies) and playing out the string. I can honestly say that after 19 years I still have so much fun teaching (mostly American history and civics) that I sometimes laugh when I get my paycheck. "My God, I get paid to have this much fun?!" One of my favorite activities is the mock trials we have after we do a unit on the American legal system. We use real student criminals who have been written up by a teacher and sent to the principal. After a week of preparation the "attorneys" present their cases and a student jury decides if the accused is guilty or not. My biggest problems come from other teachers who want to see the kid punished regardless of the process. They miss the bigger picture. But a good teacher makes all the difference. Here's to the good ones.
