Other than the fact that it was used as an in-place, convenient, make us feel good that we are doing something, yet false crutch as a reactionary measure to a "new" threat (as opposed to its original intent as a gas supplement to reduce poisonous emissions) resulting in the short-sighted application of the product causing food grain prices to skyrocket and countless thousands of people worldwide to be further driven into potential starvation and expanded dead zones in the Gulf of Mexico aroung the Mississippi delta, I think it is great as a fuel for use in the laboratory for slow controlled boils or distillation/separation of mixed liquids.
