Game 4 Predictions for each series

Each series is 2-1 and all 4 series could go either way at this point. Here are my picks for all 4 game 4's:

 

Wednesday:

Toronto at Ottawa: The Leafs have simply been too inconsistent and that includes Cujo. The Senators simply look better right now. Predicted score:3-1 Senators.

 

Colorado at San Jose: SJ outplayed the Avs badly on Monday, but facing Roy after he lets in a lot of goals is never fun. Roy is due for a shutout. 2-0 Avs.

 

Thursday:

Carolina at Montreal: Carolina is fortunate to have gotten this far, while Montreal is riding high. I see a beating. 5-2 Montreal.

 

Detroit at St. Louis: You can almost guarantee that Hasek will recover from tonight's debacle, but the Blues just seem to have more energy than Detroit right now. I see a low-scoring battle that will go to OT. 2-1 Blues in 2 OT.

4-2 Sharks. The Ricci line is playing with so much energy, and Nolan is finally showing up like the Captain he is. The Sharks will be formidable competition for the Wings in the conference finals

3-2 Canes., is anybody watching?

3-2 Wings, bang bang bang. The nail in the coffin. Blues are a strong team as we've all agreed on, but Hasek recovers to have a great game, and Shanny finally shows up.

• 4 - 1 Sens - The lack of firepower on Toronto right now coupled with the fact that CuJo isn't playing in top form will spell disaster for the Leafs.
   
  
• 2 - 1 Canes - Montreal is on fire and Theodore is playing like a team possessed, but I think the return of O'Neill gives the Canes a spark.
   
   
  
• 3 - 1 Avs - As much as I'd like to see the Sharks win here I think Roy shows his playoff muscle again.
   
   
  
• 3 - 1 Wings - A closer game than the score indicates. Wings score one into the empty net to seal the victory.
