Spain vs. Russia

Unfortunately I just saw this.... sorry about that.

You would have been disappointed by the underwhelming first half....

Then Spain showed up and the Russians didn't stand a chance in the second half.

3-Nil Spain.

Gonna be a very good final I think.

Who you like sky? I'm inclined to side with the Gerries based on their propensity to be a machine vs. the skilled flair of a side like Spain, but I sense that the Spaniards might be on to something and rolling this year. Villa is going to be out apparently, but I like the idea that he wasn't as integral in dismantling Russia as he had been in earlier matches.

I am leaning toward Spain. They haven't lost and seem to not care if they get behind as they know they will come back and win. Not only that, but they took the Italy monkey off their back and the yellow jersey jinx too. Germany on the other hand, can be beat and just haven't seemed as impressive or inspired.

That's my take as well

In the last 24 years no team that has received full points in the group stage has gone on to win the Championship. Just saying.......

streaks are meant to be broken

Spain had not beat Italy in a major competition since 1920. Just saying.......
