SEC=UGA
Barack Obama's campaign released a television ad Monday that calls for a windfall profits tax and accuses John McCain of being in the pocket of big oil. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/04/cam...wrap/index.html

SEC=UGA
wow, obama must be desperate. Yeah, this is almost as bad as the "Obama is playing the race card" statement released by the McCain Campaign last week... Not to Hijack my own thread, but that was one of the dumber things I have seen McCain do...
WaterMan
The Washington Post reported that McCain received $1.1 million from oil and gas industry executives and employees in June -- three-quarters of which came after he called for lifting the ban on offshore drilling on June 16. I wish they would pay me that.
SEC=UGA
I wish they would pay me that. As of March, Obama had received $263,000 from Oil men. Can any one find updated numbers?
Egret
Obama also put out his energy plan to eliminate imported oil from the Middle East and Venezuela within ten years. I'm sure the McCain folks will be around soon to "insert humor" without putting forth any ideas.
