Egret
The surgery for Stevie sounds a little more daunting than was being reported back in the playoffs. When it was being reported that he was going in for knee surgery, it didn't sound like this. Hopefully he's okay, but it does not sound like an easy road. The Wings would be hard pressed to win another cup without him next year. http://www.detnews.com/2002/sports/0208/08.../a01-556918.htm
redwings.cup
yeah, i didn't like the tone of the article and given the Captain's age.... well. anyhow, i thought he was having a reconstructive surgery, not a reallignment. he probably did this to come back sooner. i'm concerned over the recovery and a better chance of reinjury. regardless, the Wings have the Cup and Steve was a warrior throughout the last playoffs. Wings will be fine next year.
Guest Azazello13
I want to play, but I accept the fact that if it hurts too much, you get to the point where it doesn't make sense." what a skirt. i thought this guy was a f'n HOCKEY player.
