jbiff
Need to start 2" M. Lynch, M. forte, T. Jones or L. Maroney... and thre of these (wr's): B. Marshall (no brainer), L. Fitzgerald (same), now the hard part ---Roy Williams (with Harris covering) or David Patten or (GOD!) B. Berrian... Thanks for the insight... jbiff
i agree with the backs, but no argument to be made for Patten in a pass happy offense??? Just a thought...

An argument for Patten can certainly be made, but my crystal ball is not clear enough today to tell me for sure that Patten will get the looks over Meachem, Henderson, Shockey, et al. If you think he will, go for it, but Roy seems the safer bet to me. Edited September 14, 2008 by ts

What makes brees so good in the nfl is what makes him frustrating in fantasy. He takes what the defense gives him. He might throw to bush, shockey, henderson, patten, meacham, moore. No way to know ahead of time which will have a big day. Detroit's defense is horrible, so they will be throwing early and often, and have less options. We know Roy will get his.
