ts Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Pittman on the season now has 9 attempts, 14 yards, 3 TD ... clearly at this stage of his NFL career, he's become the new Zack Crockett. I for one, did not see this one coming, despite all the DEN "RB-by-Whatever" nonsense that goes on every year. I guess what really surprises me is that Pittman has never been known as a "goal line" back ... all of a sudden he's a short-yardage workhorse? The dude has never scored more than 7 TDs in a season, ever ... although maybe when you play for TBB & ARZ long enough, you lose your nose for the end zone as a matter of course? Probably not as amusing as turning a converted fullback like Rueben Droughns into a star for half a season, but close.
