reneworleans
My opponent has both Denver's Jay Cutler and Tony Scheffler starting in his lineup today. Possibility for a lot of firepower and points as they are playing weak New Orleans secondary. I was thinking of starting Denver's kicker Prater as a defensive play, to counteract some of his points. My thinking is that every Denver drive that stalled would be three or more points in my favor (every FG over 40 is 1 pt extra). My other kicker is SF's Nedney, who kicked four field goals last week (15 pts total)) and is playing against the pourous Detroit defense. Does this seem like a viable strategy? Should I just stick with Nedney?
jaxfactor
It's a freekin' kicker. Seriously, I'd start Prater anyway without the strategy you gave. He's been hot and Denver will put up lots of points this week.

Bonedaddies
I have used this same strategy against many other's thoughts....it still comes down to which kicker scores the most points, but if the DEN/NO game does go high scoring, you have a big part of that. The question you need to answer is can NO hold DEN to FG's? If so you are in good shape, if not, 4/5 PAT's will be lower than what SF will put up against DET. I think NO can stall a few drives out today.
