Big Country
I am thinking of starting a local fantasy basketball league. However, I have never done this before and am interested in finding out everything I can about the options, such as roster sizes, starting lineups, scoring systems and everything else. Thank you in advance for any input. BC
hxperson
In my leagues we play roto with 6 categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, and Turnovers (only 1 negative). I've also played in leagues with shooting percentage and Free throw percentage as categories, but I find those two largely luck based. For positions, I'd suggest 1C, 2F, 2G, 3FLEX. Varying the # of F's and G's is fine, but I would recommend against having 2 C's - unless the league is small - as the talent at the C position is just way too thin. Getting into specifics like SF and PG is also something sounds good in theory but I've seen fail in practice. Hope this helps.
