gilthorp
I've got one for Friday so far...you'll need to call my tip sheet number, it's just $15/call. too many races... Edited October 23, 2008 by gilthorp
gilthorp
Ventura in the F&M Sprint tomorrow...I'll go big ATB with her and see where I stand after that. If I can build a bankroll, I'll play more on Friday, if not, I'll wait for Saturday. Love the Frankel turf to poly angle here...should see 5 or 6/1. Perchoutofwater
We always did it the ole fashioned way, we didn't use a cup or a petri dish, but my swimmers were strong.

Flip_Side
All I've heard about is Zenyatta. Is this horse a big favor to win or something? I don't know anything about horse racing but might tune in tomorrow. Edited October 24, 2008 by Flip_Side
gilthorp
Gil, any thoughts on Champs Elysees? Looked very strong the other day...a physical specimen for sure. Curlin is for real, don't you know that?

Yeah, that's pretty obvious, but I don't like to single.....just in case...
gilthorp
Yeah, that's pretty obvious, but I don't like to single.....just in case... How'd you do? I was fortunate today. Caught the exacta in the 2nd race and was free and clear all day because of that. Pretty chalky hits after that, and didn't have the finale...went with Casino Drive eventually and he finished last. Largent80
As a purist, I don't like the BC being run on two days nor run on the Dirf. However, as a wagerer I was SURE that there would be some nice payoffs because of th Surface. The best race of the BC(for talented field) was run on Friday and I missed it. Zenyatta is a monster and she beat a monster field. The tri didn't pay much though. Glad I didn't get a chance to bet. It wouldn't have been worth a wager. Shoulda walked right back out and drove home. Gil, the last race exacta seemed awful light, did'nt it?
gilthorp
not that light when you have so much in going into a bunch of different possibilities. I'm sure there was quite a bit of $$ going against Curlin...and there was a lot going for him too. Not light IMO.
