bricks Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Okay so in my league I don't play with defensive starters so I can't help you with the value of the two in this deal. With both Brady and Palmer injured the discussion around those two are the injuries they face. Brandy having complications with the knee, Palmer facing Tommy John surgery. Tough to determine the impact on their respective careers. Delhomme came back from the same type surgery and his was more serious than Palmer's Given all of that, I would not make the deal. There I think Coles, Morgan, Gonzo are much more valuabe than what you are getting in return. Yes Brady better than Palmer. But when healthy Palmer is no stiff. I am sure the thought of Brady and Brees starting is enticing. But Brees and Palmer are solid as well, plush what ever you find next year. I'd turn this offer down.
