keggerz
being shown the pine? This was posted in the IDP Forum by Robash http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3732959 David Vobora is about to go from "Mr. Irrelevant" to the starting lineup. Vobora, the last man taken in the 2008 NFL draft, will start Sunday at middle linebacker for the St. Louis Rams against the Miami Dolphins. The Rams took Vobora, who played at Idaho, with the 45th pick of the seventh round and 252nd pick overall -- earning him the annual "Mr. Irrelevant" nickname as the draft's last pick. A couple weeks or so ago Haslett said that if people didnt shape up they would get benched....so whats the word out of STL?

keggerz
The past two weeks in IDP Game Breakdowns I have pointed out that any Ram was a dangerous start: From this week(of course prior to the above news) Miami Dolphins @ St. Louis Rams St. Louis Rams: *Warning: Due to Coach Haslett’s comments a couple of weeks ago no Ram is a safe play as anyone can be benched at any given time. With that said Will Witherspoon looks to be the safest play and he does have 3 consecutive solid performances. Leonard Little is fighting a hamstring injury and is losing the battle. Keep him out of your lineup. Remember, you have been warned. From last week: St. Louis Rams: Look for Will Witherspoon to build on the success he had last week when he recorded a season high 12 tackles. The Bears should have little problem winning this game so Witherspoon should see plenty of mop up tackles versus the Bears rushing game in the 3rd and 4th quarter. On paper Pisa Tinoisamoa is another strong play at LB. Over his last 9 games Tinoisamoa is averaging over 7 tackles/game. OJ Atogwe had his worst game in the last month but looks to be a solid play this week. If you do start any Rams you need to be aware that coach Haslett said, “players who continue to make mistakes and play poorly will be yanked out of the lineup.” So while a few Rams look to be good plays there is a major element of risk involved too. Due to this risk all of the “Star Plays” have been decreased by at least 1 level.
tazinib1
Another reason Haslett should never again be considered for a HC gig...anywhere. Sit Weatherspoon??? Is he smoking crack?
