lavoyka
First round of playoffs, need QB help! Romo @ Pit or Cassel @ SEA I hate thinking of benching Romo but Pitt is #1 vs. the pass and hasn't allowed but 1 QB over about 200 yds all year. Cassell has a great matchup vs. Seattle. Any thoughts? bigcluck7
Romo is going to have a tough going in Pittsburgh. I think you have to go with Cassel. Cassel is clicking with his receivers. His receiver class has talent. You saw what Pitt did to Cassel last week. It is do or die in the playoffs. Cassel is your man.
juiceman
I have the same situation and I am going with Cassel without hesitation. Cassel is pretty motivated to have a good week after last weeks debacle, which wasn't all his fault either. Romo is unlikely to have a high points game in Pittsburgh. JetFanMike
I'm not convinced Romo is going to flop (I'm considering starting him), but Cassel seems like too good an option to pass up -- besides Romo's tough matchup, Cassel has a great one. And he's been doing damage scrambling too, which adds value. I'd start Cassel; more because I think he's a great option than anything against Romo. Rockmaninoff
Same exact problem here; I posted a thread about this earlier (you can search for it if you want) and got pretty much an overwhelming number of Cassel responses. I'm going with Cassel and not looking back. I did a bit of research, too. In almost everyone's Week 14 QB projections and ratings, Cassel is in the top 7. In most, he's in the top 5. Romo sits just outside of the top 10 for this week (10-13 for most people). If you go with Cassel, you can bet that a lot of other people will as well. I expect Cassel to bounce back, and bounce back hard. Dallas-Pitt will be a tough game, and I don't see the score getting too high. Also, you can bet that Belichick will be almost ruthless this week...he hates to lose.
Bree22
I would go with Cassel this week. He puts up good stats against bad teams. Romo will have to throw for Dallas to win but it could be an ugly game. Cassel just has the least amount of downside this week. can you respond to mine? http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=275486

notamomo
Another vote for Cassel. From a guy who is starting Romo over Delhomme.
footballcashcow
Another vote for Cassel. From a guy who is starting Romo over Delhomme. I would start Cassel over Romo. No brainer to start Romo over Delhomme. He is awful. Edited December 6, 2008 by footballcashcow
