fingfootball
I was thinking about getting a windshield for our Ranger, but I have read online that the windshield causes a weird airflow and blows dust and exhaust up around the the driver and passengers. Does anyone else have one of these Rangers and do you know if the windshield thing is true? It was pretty cold riding that thing around today. Chief Dick
I'd do whatever was necessary to keep my hair in place. Live a little. Get the shield.
fingfootball
Yeah your probably right, but they range from cheapo 300 to the nicer ones at 500. If it makes the ride miserable I dont want to spend the scratch on it.
muck
The only thing I know is that my BIL doesn't have one on his ... and he uses it all the time ... I figure if it was a good thing to have, he'd have it.

We have a Ranger with a windshield and it definitley casuses dust and debris to blow all over you when riding. It makes the air swirl inside the cab when riding and any debris, dust, or dirt inside the cab swirls with it and gets all over your clothes and in your face. If you ride on dirt roads the dust from the road gets caught in the air swirling in the cab and covers you. I would much prefer not to have the windshield.
