theeohiostate
APPL is tanking now. Jobs is the only reason to buy Apple. He's the reason we have the "mouse" and microsoft. Sounds like he's trying to hide his cancer so the stock doesn't tank, but it's not working. The world is much better with men like Jobs, hope he gets through this. Mojo20
Pancreatic Cancer is a death warrant. He won't be returning. Apple will take a hit but will recover. To many Apple zombies for it to fall too far. Edited January 16, 2009 by Mojo20

dmarc117
From All Things Digital, Jan. 21, 2009: Early this morning, Bloomberg reported that regulators are looking into Apple’s disclosures about the health–or lack thereof–of its iconic CEO Steve Jobs. According to the story, the Securities and Exchange Commission is conducting a review of Apple (AAPL) “to ensure investors weren’t misled, a person familiar with the matter said. The Securities and Exchange Commission’s review doesn’t mean investigators have seen evidence of wrongdoing, the person said, declining to be identified because the inquiry isn’t public.”
CaP'N GRuNGe
Seriously? The SEC has a right to know about the health of a corporate officer? What happened to PHI (protected health information) and HIPAA?

What happened to PHI (protected health information) and HIPAA? I don't know what the obligation is, but perhaps they see a difference between not disclosing stuff on the one hand, and disclosing false information on the other. like maybe you don't have to tell the public anything, but if you do tell them something (to assuage fears and buoy the stock price) then you can't just blatantly lie (hormone problem). I guess that makes some sense.
