State of the Bengals

  1. 1. Carson Palmer - Can he return to top form?

    • Sure - he is still an elite QB
    • Not quite - too risky to consider as a starter
    • No way - would not touch him
  2. 2. Who will prove to be the most surprising in fantasy value?

    • Chad OchoCino
    • Laveranues Coles
    • Cedric Benson

State of the Bengals

The Bengals crashed and burned last year with Palmer missed 12 games. He's back and says he is 100% over his elbow injury. Doesn't that mean the Bengals are top ten in passing again? Can Laveranues Coles replace Houshmandzadeh or does the possession role go elsewhere?

And now that Cedric Benson plays for a team that does not hate him, can he make any difference?

I'd take Carson all day even if I am a homer.

Ocho... rebound season seems to happen a lot with fading studs before they finally go away. I think he has it in him.

Coles... nice, but a WR on a new team is always a gamble IMO. Coles seems like a smart professional though. He'll probably go higher than I want him.

Benson.. well, he's the best they got and a true #1 - no RBBC here. With a real QB threat behind center, that improves the crummy 3.5 ypc to the 4.0 range. That's enough to make him a #2RB in my book.

Chris Henry is a factor when pigs fly. He had his chances.
