chinatown dragons
Keeping Gore already, but choices after that are limited 6 pts for a TD, 1 pt every 10 yds rushing/receiving, NO PPC Ryan Grant: struggled at times last year, but on a decent team, could bounce back. Does Brandon Jackson steal carries? Kevin Smith: even on a 0-16 team, Smith had a strong rookie season. Can he improve if Stafford is QB and Calvin puts up some good numbers; does Maurice Morris steal carries..... Leaning towards Kevin Smith..... soulfly
I think Smith has more long term potential, and will probably do better this year as well. Or at least perform close to Grant. I think you would kick yourself more years down the line if you released Smith and never got him back than if you released Grant.

I had Grant last year and was very disappointed with him. Every week I thought, this is his breakout week..but it never happened.

Steelhead
I agree on Smith. His potential should be better than Grant and he's younger with no competition breathing down his neck See mine on keepers http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=291460
gandalas
Do you have no other options to keep? With 6 points per TD and no PPR, who was your qb? They sound as if they could be rather valuable in that scoring system? If it is indeed between those 2 only, then I would also go with smith. Our QB's only get 3 pts, so keeping a QB won't be an option...VERY thin at WR, so again, best bet is a RB....McNabb was my QB, who put up decent numbers, but not a franchise pick after Gore, Smith and Grant, looking at Thomas Jones, who was huge for me last year, but can't see him doing the same this year.....Tashard Choice, who contributed for me towards end of season (when Barber was shelved...) thanks everyone... tonorator
Tashard Choice, who contributed for me towards end of season (when Barber was shelved...) felix is the big sleeper pick from the dallas backfield ... well, until now of course.
