turbo2oh
Our comissioner has decided to reward 10yd/pt for punt/kickoff returners. I've discussed this with him but he's keeping it, at least for now. How should this influence my draft? Is MJD still the Panters return man? If so, I see that as some nice guaranteed yardage for the returners every game. Is there anyone I should move up a few draft places because of this? Thanks! Phil MJD has never been the Panters return man. He did at one time return kicks for the Jaguars, but he isn't doing that anymore. Move up any kick/punt returner that may see some decent time on the field. Cribbs in CLE comes to mind, though with Robiskie and Massaquoi there, not sure he will be on the field a ton as a receiver. NOSaint
I personally think it's a rediculous addition to your scoring system. I guess I'm a vanilla kind of guy. Most teams have a different punt returner in the game every other game it seems. So what happens with your defense/special teams scoring if you get credit for a player who returns a punt for a TD. I sure don' t like the idea of 2 starters (punt returner and def/ST) getting awarded points for the same thing.

Most leagues that I have seen that do this do not award special teams points to the team defense, they keep it separate.
