Don't see any in town here. I do know a couple years ago one of my coworkers mother or mother-in-law was visiting and when she got out of her car somewhere in Scottsdale in a parking lot a baby rattlesnake came out from under the car and bit her in the ankle sending her to the hospital for a couple of days. Jimmy Neutron Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 Perch, I came across two black bear in Shenandoah over this past summmer on one hike. They are actually pretty timid animals. They aren't really interested in people, just make some noise and they'll move on. Just don't feed them so that they don't associate humans with food and all will be OK. No need to go shooting them. True of black bears - unless they're hungry and acclimated to humans. We've had a couple of attacks and fatalities here - usually people sleeping with food. I go out there (left the gun in the safe, because nobody is that dumb) Just to clarify. . . does this passage mean: A. No one is dumb enough to make your dog bark for 5 minutes in the middle of the night, which would justify you shooting them. or B.
