fantasyfemme
Ok, so my team is in my signature. I need a QB for week 4 since both are on bye. Unfortunately, I can't drop any of my reserve WR, again need to keep them to cover the week 4 byes. Don't want to get rid of Brown because I like him and I need a serviceable backup. So, I figure that I either drop McCoy (really don't want to) or try to trade to the Westy owner (who also happens to be my hubby!). His team is: Joe Flacco, Carson Palmer, Westbook, Chris Johnson, Correll Buckhalter, Ray Rice Marques Colston, Bernard Berrian, Earl Bennett, Jeremy Maclin, Darrius Heyward-Bey (he's a Raiders fan, what can I say?)\ Tony Gonzalez Stephen Gostkowski Vikings I was thinking about offering Ryan and McCoy for Palmer and Rice but I'm really unsure. What would you do? Any advice really appreciated! Edited September 28, 2009 by fantasyfemme

fantasyfemme
Anybody available on waivers? Favre and Hill are about the best available.
Company of Heroes
The deal you propose is reasonable. Just remember McCoy has more value to him than he does to you, so adjust value accordingly. Also, wait for info on KSmith. You may need more help at RB in the short term from McCoy (although Rice should be serviceable).
fantasyfemme
Bumping for fresh eyes. Thanks to both of you. If I'm going to propose a trade, would you target Palmer or Flacco (really can't believe I just asked that but...)

eags
i would offer ryan and brown for flacco. mccoy will play more than brown this year. or keep them both and hit the waiver wire. it's crazy to trade your good upcoming players bcause of one week. dbforbes
Flacco Sad to say as I have Palmer myself, but I'm drinking the Flacco fruit punch. Other than that one game, Palmer hasn't been doing well. You want a consistently good QB, and Flacco seems to be that guy this season. fantasyfemme
Thanks very much to all who replied. i would offer ryan and brown for flacco. mccoy will play more than brown this year. or keep them both and hit the waiver wire. it's crazy to trade your good upcoming players bcause of one week. I agree. But the problem is I'd have to drop one of them anyways - with Fitz and White on bye I need to play all of my other WR. I would rather trade than drop someone like McCoy or Brown and have them scooped right up (no waiver priority in this league - we can just swoop in and pillage). I offered Ryan + McCoy for Palmer + Rice and he declined! Said I would have to give way more for Palmer! Hey Sailor! New in town???! I think he's just trying to stick it to me. What do you guys think about an offer for Ryan or Flacco straight up?
