Shorttynaz
Here are my current RB's. We start 3. A Peterson M Jones Drew R Rice J Jones C Taylor Should I even consider picking up Morris for C Taylor? The only reason I have Taylor at all is cause I own Purple Jesus
Chloroform Rx
I would keep Taylor because IMO Morris' value is in his pass-catching which Taylor also has. Plus Taylor has tremendous value if AP goes down. If I had your squad I would pass unless he see's significantly more playing time.
Shorttynaz
Or do you think the Pats will do something like make a roster spot for Benjarvis Green-Ellis? Dude was money last year, but that's such a crowded backfield with Maroney (sucks), Faulk (only gonna see 3rd down touches), Morris (who knows) and BGE. Ugh - maybe I should just stick with my Purple Jesus handcuff.. ??
Happy Hour
I also own AP with the Taylor handcuff. I know it seems expensive to have a drafted position assigned to somebody you won't start, but Peterson is a rarity and owning his backup just in case is worth it. If you were thinking of dropping the handcuff for someone who was a starter, that's one thing, but for a Patriots RB it is lunacy. Keep Taylor, and be glad you don't need him. If you have the chance, look at my conundrum: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=301479
Chloroform Rx
Absolutely. Taylor: 19 Att. 49 yds. 18 Rec 138 yds. Morris: 13 Att. 41 yds. 9 Rec. 95 yds. Taylor is behind only 1 back which is the certain primary and Morris is in the mix with several backs. Supposing AP never goes down Taylor will still have some decent outings. Keep Chester Taylor.
