Walleyes
Both Berrian and Rice are available for pick up this week. Who do you see having the most value the rest of the season? I had Berrian (then dropped him a week or two ago) from draft day but he's only started coming on while Rice has been more consistent. cbraendle
Berrian. His production has gone up every week.
cbraendle
it also takes a while for a new QB to get used to a deep threat. new QB's love possession WR's at first. (rice is a possession WR)
ReturnToSender
I agree, this is actually pretty tough, Rice has seen steady big target numbers. Farve will get the ball to who is open. I really like both of them
BearBroncos
Berrian will be the main deep threat for Farve. They both will get their touches but Berrian will be the end zone target more so than Rice.
Company of Heroes
Berrian should be the lead target. I was down on him until last week.
mojo chiefs
And where do you see Percy Harvin fitting in here?
BearBroncos
You must always remember, it's not the team that decides who the #1 receiver is, but the defense of the opposing team. Harvin might be the #3 receiver to Farve to look for, but the defense might dictate that Harvin will get the ball 70% of the time. I think Rice and Harvin are equals while Berrian has the speed to get the nod on the deep ball.
mojo chiefs
I saw Favre looking for Percy more in the first 3 games, but I think he is getting more comfortable with Rice and Berrian now.
