Shorttynaz
My regular QB is Rivers but this is his bye week. I currently have Eli (and I drafted him based on this matchup during Rivers bye week) but is he too much of a risk factor this week? M Hasselbeck is on the waiver wire and is probable to start against a Jacksonville defense that is tied for last in the league in yards allowed through the air per game. Who do I start?? Eli against Oakland or Hasselbeck against Jacksonville??
ts
With both being dinged ... I'd be tempted to use Hass & hope he makes it thru the game ... great match up, and SEA does not have the running game that the NYG can offer ... I'm thinking that against OAK, if the NYG choose to, they can win the game with Jacobs getting 25+ carries and Bradshaw another 15+, taking the heat off Eli, but also minimizing his FF scoring potential. Who knows what will really happen, but the above seems to be as likely scenario as any.
Phazool
Call me crazy, but Eli only practiced on Friday. I think he will only start the game to keep his streak alive. You might see Carr come in to give Eli a rest for New Orleans next week...
slimshady31
Hasselbeck. NYG vs. OAK game will be ugly. Figure NYG run the ball all day so Eli (if he plays) is relegated to handing the ball off to Jacobs and Bradshaw. I think SEA will have to put up point vs. JAC and that means Hass will be throwing a lot and should be good for a couple of scores I think.
