Himalayan Salt Blocks

A couple friends gave me one of these salt blocks to use in the kitchen. Has anyone had any experience cooking with them? I'm leaning towards serving sushi on it, heating it and serving very thinly cut tenderloin, etc.




Any suggestions?


Wow, that looks really cool. Maybe prepare or serve carpaccio on it? Heat it, oil it up, and slowly poach fish?
