Perchoutofwater
Recently it was announced many federal employees will be getting a 2% "cost of living" raise that we can't afford. This got me to thinking, if everyone or most people get "cost of living" raises doesn't that just cause inflation thus increasing he cost of living? bpwallace49
All my employees are getting a 3% cost iof living lincrease, after there was a wage freeze last year. I now have to tell them their health insurance is going up 53% . .so kiss that wage increase goodbye . . plus a lot more.
skylive5
Some COL raises are by law. The law would have to be struck down for those raises to no longer take place. For instance...Social Security... which, by the way, gets NO COL raise this coming year. Edited December 16, 2009 by skylive5
