I was going to post, "god, I wish I had a picture of the meat cart that I saw when we arrived on the Napo River in Ecuador (part of the amazon basin). The guy had some furry creature I could not identify, piranha (a couple of the larger frugivore variety), half of what appeared to be an armadillo (evidently someone had bought the half with the head attached, I understand that is the best part), some other fish I could not identify, something that appeared to be a porcupine, a hog of which a man bought a hind leg and had it severed from the carcass right in front of me, and a few other select animals that I can't remember.
