swk473
Hey gang- 12 team PPR league, have the 4th pick in the 1st round. Will draft Rice if there at #4 HOWEVER, if Jones-Drew is there, thinking about taking Andre Johnson. I would love to hear both sides of the argument, as I am worried MJD's second half slide is a sign of more of the same heading into 2010. SLGRAF
Tough choice, but I would go with AJ. He has exceeded 100 catches during three of the past four seasons (he caught 60 in 9 games during the other season). And, he is still of prime age, and is playing with a QB who is also in his prime. You will be able to get a nice RB in the 2nd round, because people will draft alot of WR's early due to the PPR.
swk473
also, our RB and WR roster spots look like this: RB RB/WR RB/WR WR WR hence, my wanting to take Andre at 4. Other thoughts? Please.
Big Country
I'd personally lean MJD because I am actually seeing better WRs available in the 2nd and 3rd. The RBs that everyone is hyping as being super deep this year are primarily front ends of RBBCs (Shonn Greene - no catches), unproven rookies (Matthews) and the like, while proven #1 WRs with top 5 potential, like Jennings, Fitzgerald, Marshall etc. are all often available in the mid to late 2nd round. Personally, I would prefer to have an RB with top 5 potential in MJD and one of those WRs with top 5 potential and likely for sure top 10 status then to have a WR with top 5 potential in AJ and an RB that I hope cracks the top 10. I'm in a similar situation with the #5 pick...its gonna be between AJ and Gore...and i have no idea what to do with that

disaman
I like Rice & MJD over Andre at that position in the draft.
