captain77
i know i have posted on this subject before but it is getting closer to the draft and opinions may have changed. i have the 6th pick and am torn between gore, turner or the best qb. our league's scoring is a bit diff then most and is td heavy but yardage still gets points..as you can see below. scoring: for qb, rb, wr, te 6 pts for tds (12 pts for td's 50yds and over...8 pts for a 50 yd+ by a qb) 9 pts for td by a te 1 pt for every 25 yds (5 pts for 100 yds) 5 pts for 10 receptions...1 point for every rec after 10 ex: QB: 335 yds and 3 tds (one td is 65 yds)= 26 points RB: 155 yds and 2 tds (one td is 53 yds)= 25 points WR: 110 yds and 1 td (75 yd td)= 17 points TE: 75 yds and 1 td = 12 points we start: qb, rb rb, wr wr, te, k, d below are the top 24 scorers in 2009 1. tazinib1
Andre Johnson is the consensous 1.6 pick this year and based on your scoring, I'd take him here as well.
Big Country
Andre Johnson is the consensous 1.6 pick this year and based on your scoring, I'd take him here as well. I'd lean Turner given lineup requirements. With no PPR until 10 receptions, it is essentially a non-factor, and with the ability to start no more than 2 WRs, they are devalued compared to RBs that also have to have 2 started. tazinib1
meh..didn't see the 10 reception part. Yuck...horrible. I'm just not on the Turner bandwagon this year. If Gore is still there at 1.6, well thats where I'd go but he shouldn't be. Maybe trade down and get a turn slot? And looking at the top scorer's from last year that he has posted with this scoring system, AJ is #

Yeah, if Gore is there, I like him more than Turner.

SLGRAF
ap,cj,mjd,rr,gore,aj. same as most of the leauges this year. Actually, I have seen several sources rank Turner ahead of Gore and AJ in a non-PPR.
captain77
Actually, I have seen several sources rank Turner ahead of Gore and AJ in a non-PPR. how much does westbrook affect gore's value?
Big Country
My guess minimally, Westbrook will primarily fill the void left by Coffee's retirement. Perhaps a slight hit to Gore's receptions, but at this point, not having seen Westy in camp or preseason, I would speculate that the affect is minimal.
