Klay
I have the following 3 choices for keepers and I draft in the 7th slot. It's a standard scoring league no PPR. And we start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex WR/RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D You lose a pick in the round that you drafted the player last year. And You can only keep a player drafted after the 5th round - So there wont be too many high profile players gone. Vernon Davis (for a 14th round pick) Steve Smith-Giants (for a 10th round pick) LeSean McCoy (for a 7th round pick)
ts
Even with no PPR, since TE is required, Davis seems like a strong value ... even if no other teams retain a TE (meaning all of the elite ones are available on draft day) you'll pay far more than a 14th round pick for any of them. That was my original thought- but lately I've been thinking Steve Smith would make a nice reliable second WR allowing me to land one elite WR and focus on snatching up RB's
Jackass
i would take Davis. top TE for a 14th is a pretty nice deal.
