Texans RB Steve Slaton (turf toe) did not play in the pre-season finale and his status for the season opener is questionable, according to Nick Scurfield, of HoustonTexans.com. "I've got one healthy running back right now," said coach Gary Kubiak.

 

Huddle Up: Aside from starting RB Arian Foster the Texans have a huge mess. Slaton's turf toe is the type of injury that lingers, No. 3 RB Jeremiah Johnson is out indefinitely with a dislocated toe, No. 4 RB Chris Henry was just waived, and of course rookie RB Ben Tate is on IR. Don't be surprised if Houston signs free-agent RB Derrick Ward (Bucs) in the next 24 hours.

I got Foster on both my teams at the end of the 6th, and if we talk about him too much, he will surely get injured.

You can see that info on rotoworld. Chances are they will sign Justin Fargas over Ward.

That's what rotoworld reported. Now it's looking like Ward will be signed. Better choice than Fargas.
