westvirginia
I've never read anybody saying that specifically, but it's funny that they technically live longer than Americans (along with about 3 dozen other countries that spend far less on healthcare. Anyway, this thread is already pointless as it will turn into the normal red vs. blue derp / derp that happens around here. This should be the gremlin for the political threads that get skewed by cheap shots instead of actually trying to discuss the topic. Looks like it took a total of one post to bring this to red vs. blue instead of talking about a generational icon (don't mean that in a good way, just he has been the face of socialism this side of the pond for ever) like Castro admitting that the policies he enforced are no longer working for his country. To me this is interesting as we'll see what the future holds for Cuba as this D-bag gets buried and hopefully the innocent people of Cuba are allowed to join the 21st Century. Love the graemlin suggestion. Second, I wholeheartedly agree on the last part. That island, along with Hispaniola, should be shining, paradise-like jewels down there in that lake. Thanks to tyrants Haiti and Cuba are stinking Caribbean toilets.

Cuba will be one big casino when things change.
Ursa Majoris
Funny that the owners of the huddle will kill a humorous thread that shows Obama unable to get an umbrella through a gate as too political - but will let this thread continue with all the liberal hate speech. Please quote one example in this thread of "liberal hate speech". I just reread it and I don't see any. I don't see any "conservative hate speech" either, for that matter. What I see is a pretty fair discussion of what constitutes socialism and what constitutes capitalism. Your problem seems to be that you want an echo chamber for your lunatic theories rather than a rational discussion. The Innerwebs have plenty of those if that's what you prefer. Duchess Jack
If you do not want political topics, it seems that they all should be killed. Will you than feel its your mission and that you are somehow qualified to drop knowlege on people about football like you currently try to do with politics? Clubfoothead
Using a quote from Castro as an indictment of Obama's policies would be equivalent of using the cholera epedimic in Niger as an indictment of trickle-down economics and capitalism.
